The Associates of the Society of Sisters of Social Service are volunteers who freely choose to commit themselves—according to their state of life—through a promise to participate in the spirituality, charism, and mission of the Society.

Any Catholic who is at least 18 years old and committed to a responsible Christian life, living in a canonically recognized state of life (married or single), and possessing a spirit aligned with the Society’s values and social sensitivity, may become an Associate. Membership is also open to clergy.

Meetings and spiritual exercises

External members of the community usually meet once a month. We warmly welcome anyone interested in our charism or external membership to these meetings. The three-day community retreat for external members usually takes place in June or July.
